These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StockWise POS website and the StockWise POS application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by StockWise POS.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have legal guardian consent) to use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information during signup.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You may not share your account or use it for illegal purposes.

3. Subscription and Payments

Fees for the Service are as set forth on our website or as agreed upon during the account setup process.
All applicable taxes are included in the quoted prices unless stated otherwise.
Subscriptions are typically billed in advance and will renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
Annual payments may be eligible for discounts as promoted on our Service.
Payments are processed securely via M-Pesa or other integrated payment methods.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Kenyan consumer protection laws.
Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in temporary suspension of Service access.

4. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You agree not to:

Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the Service.
Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code.
Use the Service in any way that violates Kenyan law.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and use Your Data solely to provide and maintain the Service.

6. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings (cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refund for partial months).
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or illegal activity.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, and content (excluding Your Data), is owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service during your active paid subscription.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nairobi.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
